About Douglas Hineline

Creative user experience designer and front-end developer specializing in innovative online consumer products.

I am a dedicated, energetic user experience designer and front end developer. I have a passion for digital design, great user experiences and the technology and methods that drive them.

As a designer for the Indianapolis Star, a regional paper owned by Gannett, I helped to release several award winning sites, including IndyMoms.com, one of the web's first social networking applications for moms. Later, as the Front End Developer for Vivaty, Inc. I helped to build one of the first fully browser based 3d social applications. Vivaty was a new breed of virtual world and sought to set a new standard for immersive online experiences.

I was then given the opportunity to join Circle of Moms as a User Interface Developer. I've worked hard building a more cohesive, simple and endearing experience for moms that allows them to ask questions and share answers to the most pressing issues mothers face. Circle of Moms is perfectly suited as an advertising vehicle with every major brand seeking to engage mothers while in 'mom mode.' I helped to solidify and empower the advertising business through the skillful use of interaction design, simultaneously providing an experience that drove deeper brand integration for advertisers and a consistent and dedicated base of online users.
